Partly. In malls, supermarkets, hotels and many city centers a stroller works well. Outside of them, sidewalks are often narrow, uneven or missing, there are steep streets and a lot of rain, and beaches mean sand. That is why many families here combine two things: a stroller for the car, the mall and the airport, and a baby carrier for trails and the beach.
- Bigger wheels handle cracks and gravel better than small hard wheels.
- A compact fold matters, because you will put it in and out of the car a lot.
- A rain cover or canopy helps during the rainy season.
